Eric Cantona

One of the most flamboyant players ever to play the game, Eric Cantona’s antics
off the field often seem to outshine his brilliance on the field. Eric’s career started
with the small French side Auxerre, and from there he moved on to first division
team Marseille for a fee of £2.3 million.
It was during his stay at Marseille that Eric’s temper began to surface. Having been
substituted in a friendly against Torpedo Moscow, Eric ripped off his jersey and threw
it to the ground in disgust. Marseille imposed a short ban for his actions.
Around the same time, Eric found himself banned form the French National Team for
insulting the coach on French TV. It wasn’t until Michel Platini took over that Eric was
asked to play once again for Les Bleus.
Not long after all this, Eric was loaned to Bordeaux, but he moved on to Montpeiller,
where he had one of his best seasons, helping the club win the French Cup. The
following year he returned to Marseille, however injuries kept him sidelined, and once
again he found himself at another club, this time Nimes. Troubles followed him, and
while at Nimes Eric found himself called before the French Football Association for
throwing a ball at a referee during a match. When the French FA handed him a one
month ban for his actions, Eric called them all idiots and the FA raised the ban to 2 months.
This didn’t sit well with the spirited Cantona, and he decided in retaliation to retire early
from the game that he loved.
Retirement didn’t last long as Eric was convinced to come out of retirement and
move to England. Refusing a tryout with Sheffield Wednesday, he joined Leeds,
and in his second year with the team helped them win the league title. Ironically,
Eric found it hard to remain in the first team with Leeds and soon found himself
offloaded to Manchester United where his legendary status continued to grow.
He helped lead Man United to championship after championship. It was with Man
United that he made his biggest mistake – the legendary “Kung Fu” kick.
In a 1995 game against Crystal Palace, Eric ran into the stands and kicked a fan for
shouting racial slurs at him. He was dealt a heavy fine and sentenced to serve 120
hours of community service plus a 9-month ban from the game. Eventually Eric
rejoined Man United and helped them win several more championships, but his
retirement in 96-97 surprised everyone. Many people felt he could have played
many more years.
In 2001 he was voted Manchester United’s player of the century, and to this day
United fans refer to him as “King Eric”.
He then embarked on an acting career, starring in movies such as Elizabeth.
He is currently playing/managing the French National Beach Soccer team.
Eric owns a shareholding stake in Partouche-Betting.com.

George Best

George Best (22 May 1946 – 25 November 2005) was a Northern Irish professional footballer who played as a winger for Manchester United and the Northern Ireland national team. In 1968 he won the European Cup with United, and was named the European Footballer of the Year and Football Writers' Association Player of the Year. He is described by the national team's governing body, the Irish Football Association, as the "greatest player to ever pull on the green shirt of Northern Ireland".

Born and raised in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Best began his club career in England with Manchester United, who had spotted his talent at the age of 15. He went on to see success with United scoring 179 goals from 470 appearances over 11 years. His playing style combined pace, acceleration, balance, two-footedness, goalscoring and the ability to beat defenders. Best unexpectedly quit United relatively early in 1974 at age 27, but returned to football for a number of clubs around the world in short spells, until finally retiring in 1983, age 37. In international football, he was an automatic choice when fit, being capped 37 times and scoring nine goals from 1964 to 1977, although the team's performance never allowed his talent to be displayed in the finals of a European Championship or World Cup.

Such was Best's talent and charisma that he became one of the first celebrity footballers, but his subsequent extravagant lifestyle led to various problems, most notably alcoholism which he suffered from for the rest of his adult life. These problems affected him on and off the field throughout his career, at times causing controversy. He often said of his career that "I spent 90% of my money on women, drink and fast cars. The rest I wasted". After football he spent some time as a pundit, but his financial and health problems continued into his retirement.[3] He died in 2005 age 59, due to complications from the immunosuppressant drugs he needed to take after being controversially granted an NHS liver transplant in 2002. Best was married twice, to two former models, Angie Best and then Alex Best. His son Calum Best was born in 1981 from his first marriage.

Prior to his death, Best was voted 16th in the IFFHS World Player of the Century election in 1999 and was one of the inaugural 22 inductees into the English Football Hall of Fame in 2002; in 2004 he was also voted 19th in the public UEFA Golden Jubilee Poll and named by Pelé as one of the 125 best living footballers in the world. After his death, on what would have been his 60th birthday, Belfast City Airport was renamed the George Best Belfast City Airport as a "fitting and permanent tribute to his footballing brilliance." Fuel price hike from my perspective

Lately, our country was shocked by the discourse of the fuel price increase is planned to be implemented starting in April 2012. As a student, I do not want to just be people who are blind, who are always trying to turn a blind eye to the problems in this country. In this paper, I will express my opinion as a scholar of rising fuel prices.

Logic One:
Facts about the rise in world oil prices reach $ 122.01 per barrel on Monday, March 19, 2012 can not be denied anymore. Based on the article I read in www.republika.co.id, one of the causes of rising world oil prices are tensions in the Middle East. Mohammad bin Dhaen al-Hamli (Minister of Energy United Arab Emirates) said that there are many tensions in oil producing countries that inflate the price of oil today.

Raising fuel prices is like fruit simalakama to swallow by the Government. When fuel prices are not raised, the government must bear the greater costs for fuel subsidies would have to give up the budget and other expenses such as education and energy subsidies such as electricity, gas and so forth. Friend is not whether we are aware, that the high and low fuel prices is not something that can make us a decent living.

Although fuel prices are not something that can make our lives better or worse, but the increase in fuel prices in Indonesia are directly impacted surprise (shock therapy) for the community, particularly the lower middle class. Want to know the impact (shock therapy) increase in fuel? note the following simple description.

Perkembangan E-Commerce di Indonesia

Pendahuluan

Posted by yugidwianggoro on October 30, 2010

Pendahuluan

Tinjauan Pustaka
