Former National Team Players Involved Kidnapping and Robbery

Former South Korean national team player, Dong-Hyun Kim was arrested on charges of committing a crime of theft and robbery.

Kim Dong-Hyun, 28 along with fellow former pro baseball player, Yoon Chan-soo, 26, accused of kidnapping a woman and robbed of his Mercedes car in the luxury residential areas in Gangnam.

Kim and Yoon did the crime last Friday. They did find prey by following a woman who had just come home.

Both were later threatened her with a knife and forced her into his Mercedes. Kim drives a Mercedes, while Yoon followed by another stolen car.

But the 45-year-old woman jumped from mbbil and immediately called police who arrested the two former athletes. Kim and Yoon mengatkan acknowledge their actions and planned to rob the jewelry and deplete her savings through the ATM.

Kim is one of 10 Korean League player who was sentenced to a lifetime ban for his involvement in a sensational match-fixing last year. The scandal involving 46 players and some bookies. Two players and one coach accused of involvement then committed suicide.

Once banned, Kim tried to do business with borrowed capital 100 million won (skitar USD 800 million). But he then failed to return the loan.
